OK, so this is my first real foray into my own blog. Very rough at present, but filled with potential -- much like Jerusalem itself.
By day I run a seed-stage venture fund called Jerusalem Capital, and sometimes by night as well, but also manage a fast growing start-up known as the Ner-David family...
Of course, I am not the only member of the Ner-David management team -- I am cojoined to my co-founder and co-CEO, Haviva Ner-David, recently profiled in Jewish Woman magazine.
Together, with our five children, we try and make sense of day-to-day life in Jerusalem. I spend my day working in a global village, brainstorming new ways of being virtual, but in my bike rides around Jerusalem (and beyond, soon will participate in the annual Alyn ride from Jerusalem to the Dead Sea) I see the ultimate ground zero -- the sometimes holy city of Jerusalem.
Through this blog I will express my thoughts on Web 2.0, VoIP (I am a co-founder of Delta Three, among other companies), Middle East politics, "local" Jerusalem issues, spirituality and lack thereof, parenting, and more.
I hope to keep you engaged, enraged, enlightened, and always coming back for more!
In peace,
Jacob Ner-David
